Modulo Code is Coming to the Hour of Code
Our partnership with code.org brings Modulo Code: Code E.D. to the Hour of Code 2019 national campaign.
We’re super excited to announce the availability of our Modulo Code activity in this year code.org’s Hour of Code national campaign that takes place each year during Computer Science Education Week, which will be held from December 9-15. It is held annually in recognition of the birthday of computing pioneer Admiral Grace Murray Hopper (December 9, 1906).
The Modulo Code activity can be found in the Hour of Code’s Activities page. The activity is recommended for students grade 6 to 12, although some elementary school students may also find it stimulating.
In contrast to most available activities that are web browser-based, the Modulo Code activity requires Microsoft Windows 10 operating system as the app uses the full flexibility of the PC for its dedicated 3D graphics system and high-performance language engine. In exchange it offers very responsive user experience with smooth graphics animation similar to the experience of playing a computer game or using a professional coding tool.
For our educators, the activity comes fully equipped with a suggested lesson plan along with our puzzle solution guides and tips and tricks of how to make the most out of your classroom experience. Our online community and web blog help you stay connected with others and our new developments. We can’t wait to see how you will use our work to light up young and curious minds all around the world!
